Lois Phillips, Ph.D., was the founding executive director of Antioch University's Santa Barbara campus (1977-1988). Phillips is now is a management consultant, speaker, and trainer and teaches classes in Presentation Skills and Organizational Communication for local universities. Phillips has won awards for her diversity efforts in media and education; she has produced and moderated two cable television programs dealing with the changing roles of women as it impacts the workplace and family life, and in 2002 co-hosted "DIALOGUES" on KCLU radio.

Anita Perez Ferguson, MA, is a professional speaker and an international trainer and consultant in the areas of program planning, evaluation and leadership development. From 1991 to 1995 she served as the president of the National Women's Political Caucus in Washington DC. She was appointed by President Clinton to serve as the Chair of the Inter American Foundation and the White House Liaison to the U.S. Department of Transportation. She has served as a Director on various national and community boards and as a Visiting Fellow for the Woodrow Wilson Foundation in Princeton, New Jersey.
